As Deputy Manager, she plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the setting and leading the team to maintain excellent standards. Business Manager and HR
Meet Amelia Broughton, our Marketing and Business Administration professional. Amelia has 9 years’ experience in early years and holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years. She also has additional qualifications in marketing and management, supporting the smooth and effective running of the setting.
As Business Manager and HR lead, Amelia oversees business operations, ensuring the nursery runs efficiently and maintains high standards across all areas.
Daisy Houghton
Polar Bear Pre-School Room Lead and Designated Safeguarding Deputy
Daisy has 12 years’ experience in Early Years and leads our Polar Bear Pre-School room. She is passionate about preparing children for the next stage of their learning, supporting them to become confident, independent, and school ready.
As Designated Safeguarding Deputy, Daisy helps to ensure children are cared for in a safe and secure environment while promoting their overall development and wellbeing.
Laura McCreight
Panda Bears Room Lead - Designated Safeguarding Deputy and Wellbeing Officer
Laura has 14 years’ experience in early years and leads our Panda Bears room, working with children aged 2–3 years. She supports children’s development through nurturing care and engaging learning experiences, helping them build confidence and key early skills.
Laura is a Designated Safeguarding Deputy and Wellbeing Officer, ensuring a safe, supportive environment for both children and staff.
Katie Williams
Senior SENCO and Management Team
Katie is our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO). She has 10 years’ experience in early years and holds a Level 3 SENCO Award. Katie supports children’s development through 1:1 interventions and works closely with staff to enhance their knowledge and understanding of special educational needs.
Lucinda Cone
Koala Bear Room Lead and Designated Safeguarding Deputy
Lucinda has 6 years’ experience in childcare and leads our Koala Bear room. She holds a Level 7 qualification in Early Years and Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status. Lucinda provides a high-quality, engaging learning environment that supports children’s development and prepares them for their next steps in education.
She is also a Designated Safeguarding Deputy, ensuring children are safe, supported, and well cared for at all times.
Demi Ratcliffe

Demi has 4 years’ experience in early years and leads our Panda Cub room, working with children aged 1.5–2.5 years. She provides a nurturing and engaging environment that supports children’s early development, helping them build confidence, independence, and key foundational skills.
