FEL- Funded Early Learning sessions
We understand the importance of accessible and affordable early education for children and families. We are pleased to offer various funding options that help support children’s learning journeys. Here’s everything you need to know about funding early learning sessions:
Children aged 3 and 4 years old are eligible for 15 hours of funded early education per week. This funding is available to all children, regardless of their family’s income or circumstances. The funding starts from the term following their third birthday and continues until they start reception class. In addition, some families may be eligible for an extended entitlement of up to 30 hours per week, providing 30 hours of funded early education for eligible working parents. To determine your eligibility for the extended entitlement, please visit the government’s website 30 hours free childcare – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
Children aged 2 years old may be eligible for 15 hours of funded early education per week. You can read more here: Help paying for childcare: Free education and childcare for 2-year-olds – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
